Through this trekking experience you will be able to witness the majestic peaks of Macchapuchhre, Annapurna I, Annapurna South and so on. Hot springs and waterfalls will be crossed during the 5 day trek in Mountain Hike. You will be introduced to the authentic Nepali cuisine through the restaurants that will pass during the trek.
Our journey towards the base camp will start from Pokhara. You will be trekking through the lush green farm villages of the Gurungs. Getting to know about the Buddhist religion, their customs and traditions is something really enjoyable. You will be trekking all along River Modi and will be able to even witness is source which is the Glacier at the base camp sanctuary. Crossing the small villages and their paddy fields as we witness the Himalayan range is something spectacular.
Our journey starts with the drive to Pokhara by our private, which happens to be the gateway of the Annapurna region. We stay overnight at Pokhara.
The next day we start with a 3 hour drive to Siwai. We drive along the Modi river and you can witness many small villages and beautiful waterfalls during the drive. Once we reach Siwai, the trek of the day starts to reach Chhomrong, which happens to be a beautiful small village. We trek through the terraced farm witnessing the beautiful scenery of the place. Magnificent view of Annapurna south can be seen from Chhomrong. It happens to be the gateway of Annapurna base camp. Overnight at Chhomrong.
We start the day walking downhill to the river as we cross the bridge to reach Sinuwa(2,330m). We then trek through the beautiful forests full of pines, oaks and rhododendrons. We come across a small settlement on the Mode river Gorge as we descend down. As we keep trekking up we cross Dovan. We want through the thick forests as we reach the Himalaya. We can see the Huichuli peak and Hinko cave from here
We walk through the trail leading to the Hinko cave. As we cross it we trek through the rocky moraines which brings us to Deurali . We trek towards the Machhapuchhre base camp from there. After lunch we visit the spectacular Annapurna Sanctuary, where our base camp is situated. The sanctuary is filled with beautiful mountain peaks around. As we move forwards we reach the highest stop of Annapurna base camp(4,130m). We visit a number of peaks like Mt.Machhapuchhre, Annapurna I, Annapurna III, Tharpa Chuli and even fluted peak
The day starts witnessing the spectacular view of the sunrise early morning over Annapurna Himalaya. We gradually retreat back as we trek downhill. We walk past the Modi river gorge and cross Khuldi-ghar. We keep trekking through the beautiful forest till we reach Sinuwa. Overnight at Sinuwa
We will be descending down to the trail of Chhomrong Khola as we cross the suspension bridge. We trek through the beautiful forest to reach the Jhinu village surrounded by spectacular scenic beauty of green hills. We descend down to reach the Nayapul bridge, and finally reach Siwai. We end our journey as our private vehicles will drive you back to Pokhara.
